Ready for one last primer coat. Put down dewaxed shellac primer and sanded most off, leaving only that which settled in the low spots. Now ready to top it off with final oil enamel primer coat then a couple top coats of paint.

rear dent and bend repair

Worked on cleaning the area under the removed center seam molding and also removed the lower rear molding to get a better look at the dent and bend in the rear roof panel. I was able to straighten it out a bit but the dents in the skin wont be fixable unless I rebuild the panel or do a bondo job.

Front corner rebuild

Painted the tinted primer around moments of rain last night and this morning. Kept covered with plastic and that seemed to work. Next I was going to install the diamond plate side panels on the front trunk but when I Removed the second door and the skin on the front driver side, it was rotted. So I ended up rebuilding this unexpectedly and never got to the diamond plate.
